CE: All our products are eligible for the prestigious CE mark because they follow the safety protocols prescribed by several regulatory committees. The CE certification ensures that Tech Virgin’s products are health and environment safe. The “CE” directly translates to European Conformity from French and indicates that our products comply with the international standards of health, safety and environment protection.
FCC: The Federal Communications Commission offers the FCC mark which ensures that our electronic products are well below the organization’s permissible limit of electromagnetic interference. Electromagnetic interference is a phenomenon by which, devices produce electromagnetic waves that have the ability to interfere with and disrupt the functioning of other electronic devices, in its vicinity. Therefore, it is recommended that any product oscillating at a frequency of 9kHz or higher must acquire the FCC’s approval and certification. All Tech-Virgin products are marked safe by the FCC.
RoHS: This certification is part of the CE marking directive. It is also known as the “Restriction of Hazardous Substances” directive. Having received the RoHS mark, all our products are marked safe. The electronic contents of our products lie well within the permissible limit of 10 major hazardous substances namely, Cadmium, Lead, Hexavalent chromium, Mercury, Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE), Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), Benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP), Dibutyl phthalate (DBP), Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP). The permissible limit for each of these substances is 1000 ppm with Cadmium as an exception. Cadmium necessitates a limit of 100 ppm. With the RoHS compliance, Tech Virgin’s product are eligible for being sold internationally.
